Principal's Welcome

Keith Area School is set in an rural environment with caring and supportive community.  Positive relationships between students, staff and the community play a pivotal role in our school. 

As educators, we aim to engage every child and student so that they achieve at the highest possible level of their learning and wellbeing, through quality care and teaching.  We do this by offering broad, balanced and innovative curriculum for reception to year 12 with a strong focus on student wellbeing.  Rich opportunities are provided to our students to grow as individuals and to excel in a range of extra curricula activities including sports, performing arts, community service and student voice. The years of fine academic tradition continue to be reflected in the achievement of consistently high grades in the annual SSABSA assessments.
