Keith Area School has excellent facilities. The Governing Council Facilities Committee continue to work hard to improve the grounds and surrounds. Through a combination of State and Federal Government funding, we have also been able to upgrade a large percentage of our class rooms and specialist teaching areas. Class rooms have been refurbished, a new Junior Primary area has been established, an outdoor sporting complex (COLA) has been built, the front office has been upgraded, administration offices, SSO work areas, staff work rooms and the staff room have all been refurbished, and a new community library has been constructed.

A new Trade Training Centre on site has enabled the development of an engineering pathways course for senior secondary students. An upgrade to our Home Economics facilities will also enable us to run VET Hospitality programmes.

The school has also invested heavily in IT, with all teaching rooms equipped with either Interactive TV’s or IWB’s. BYOD (bring your own device) has been introduced for Year 7-12 students, and wireless network is accessible from anywhere on site.
